Do Spiders Die When Vacuuming?
Spiders are unlikely to die from vacuuming. Due to their small size and body structure, most vacuum cleaners do not suck in spiders directly, but rather whirl them up in a stream of air. When the spider gets sucked into your vacuum, it can end up in the bag or bin where it can live on if you don't turn off the vacuum immediately. However, some species of spiders can be damaged or killed by the high airflow or by contact with the vacuum cleaner. However, this is unlikely to happen in most species of spiders. So if you have a spider in the house and want to get rid of it, catching and releasing it is a gentler method than vacuuming.
